How to reach Rennes

Rennes, the historical capital of Brittany, is located 350 km west from Paris.

You can reach Rennes from Paris by car (3 hrs), by plane (1 hr), or by high-speed train (~2hrs).

- There are flights from Paris (Roissy Charles de Gaulle CDG) to Rennes by Britair (Air France company). See the Rennes airport website or Air France website. 

- There are few trains from Paris CDG airport to Rennes center. See the SNCF train website for booking.

- There are trains every one or two hours from Paris (Montparnasse railway station) to Rennes.

 - You can rent a car from CDG or Orly airports in Paris to Rennes.

Access

Public transport (STAR):
Bus N°C4 or 40ex (stop : Beaulieu Chimie).

From the train station:
Note that the subway (metro) station at the Railway station (Station Gares) will be closed from May to August. If needed, go to the next station (Charles de Gaulle) by foot (2 min) or by a shuttle. More easily, walk to the “République” place (less than 10 min). Then take a bus number C4 or 40 ex bus and get off at the “Beaulieu Chimie” stop.
